Brevard hosts a variety of restaurants, many within walking distance. As their hours are subject to change, we always recommend checking their websites for the most up to date information and to make reservations, if possible.
Mayberry’s Soups and Sandwiches
6 min walk from Red House Inn
Comfort foods such as soups, sandwiches, pies, meatloaf, pot roast, and more. With its laid-back interior, Mayberry’s is a good place for families and relaxed lunches. It is also a good place to get takeout and has good chocolate pie and brownies.
Jordan Street Café
7 min walk from Red House Inn
American food including casual bar food such as burgers and wraps as well as entrees such as steaks and seafood. The laid-back bar, dining room, and seasonal patio offer a variety of seating options. Our personal favorites are the bacon wrapped trout and any of the homemade desserts.
30 min drive from Red House Inn
An expansive taproom and restaurant located between Brevard and Asheville on beautifully developed wooded grounds near the French Broad River. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes made with local ingredients, including ingredients from their own gardens. Catch live music performances in their open air amphitheater on weekends. Tours of the brewery itself are available via booking.
Dolly’s Diary Bar
9 min drive from Red House Inn
Located at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, Dolly’s offers a variety of ice cream flavors, including special flavors for local summer camps. The adjacent tube rental place is a good place to rent tubes to float down the Davidson River.
The newly renovated Red House Inn provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation…
